High-fired Cone10-11 ceramic stoneware pottery. High-fired to 2350 degrees in a homemade kiln in a gas reduction-type atmosphere. Glossy, handmade layers of flowing glazes. Clean finish. High-end individually made pieces masterfully thrown on a pottery wheel. Artist signature is represented as a traditional potter’s “chop” (hand-carved stamped frog).

Microwave, dishwasher safe. Durable.

A spiral is impressed onto the interior bottom of the pot. As the pottery wheel spins a single finger is used to compress the bottom of the pot giving it a signature swirl spiral.

Perfect size for resting a spoon or ladle without soiling kitchen counter.
