High-fired Cone10-11 ornate ceramic stoneware pottery skull. High-fired to 2350 degrees in a homemade kiln in a gas reduction-type atmosphere. Glossy, handmade layers of flowing glazes. Clean finish. High-end individually made pieces masterfully thrown on a pottery wheel. Artist signature is represented as a traditional potter’s “chop” (hand-carved stamped frog).

Multiple, enclosed thrown, altered and assembled vessels. Nonfunctional ceramic sculpture. Hand made, handcrafted stoneware.
